SCS Designs new image and Photo contest

So you all probably heard of our grand opening. I would like to thank first and foremost, DJ Rocky who DJed the beach event and all the friends and family, as well as visitors and VIPs who came. The shop has been going through some major changes recently, all aimed at this new phase and we have a few things going and some upcoming projects and surprises.

First of all the new name and logo -which has been the new shop's name and image for the past 2 weeks- and initially changed on our Facebook page and marketplace store

Secondly, updated vendor pics and added billboards inside the in-world store -thanks to my wonderful family (specially my son who I know hates posing for pics) who agreed to pose for these-

Halloween Gift

For those not loving Mesh

It is safe to say that by now, everyone knows I am not the biggest fan of Mesh in fashion. Simply because due to a number of factors I get the impression it is simply something that was originally planned out to be for architectural purposes but due to worn attachments no prim limits, it's just both convenient and practically relegated to fashion.

So for those out there, who just like simple clothes nicely textured and wish to make a statement, I have made this "don't mesh with me" pack at an affordable price and including 3 layers on both the tank and the T-shirt.

IT'S HERO TIME!

As a designer, I firmly believe that all suggestions, specially those coming from customers have to be heard and made a reality, if possible. A while a go I released the hero undies collection, but people kept asking for matching t-shirts but since I don't like to do mass production of items, it took me a while to make one, worth of being posted.

All undies have now a matching full underwear outfit, a T-Shirt stand alone version and a couple of fat packs for the greedy ones, as always at unbeatable prices and made both with care and real photo sourced textures for realistic effect.

Yes, I'm back

It seems like it's been a big long while (nearly over a month) but many projects in SL and RL have kept my attention away from blogging. So I will introduce the designs in order. The first one I made it for my son, on the first anniversary of his adoption and it is of course, rancher wear centred, very much so. After playing around with ideas I came up with this one and I am very happy with the results

The Silent Ranger Outfit

The TOO Thorn Jeans

I made this pair for my own personal use and had to end up posting it, since so many people complimented me on them and were curious on where I had bought them. So here they are

Renegade Bandanas 4 color pack

The Original black and white bandanna was made for the Silent Ranger outfit, but I had been considering a few weeks after releasing it that people would appreciatte a small and cheap collection of bandanas with different textures to match every outfit.

The Pink Prince Outfit:

A very good friend was my inspiration for this and that is why it was named after him, he also happens to LOVE all things pink.

Daring as I am and having not done it before (but seeing the success the leather had -Specially the leather underwear pack-) I decided to experiment a bit with Baggies

Just released and posted today, "The Smokey outfit" named after a friend who I used as inspiration for this outfit, copying and personalising things I've seen him wear. Yesterday was his birthday and I wanted to surprise him with something he'd like, but it ended up looking so good I decided to pack it and make it a release. So here it is "The Smokey Outfit"

Leather frenzy this week

Ok, I am loving the leather... I am loving it so much I have released an underwear pack exclusively on leather...

This one comes in 2 layers and 3 versions, Jockstrap, Boxers and Briefs, with a sculpted bulge including a resizable menu with delete option...

Leather, Leather, gimme Leather

After avoiding introducing leather to the shop's collection, I decided to give leather a chance and a comfy spot among the other creations. Reason for the delay is that I've seen a whole lot of leather around SL, but since I am always going for realistic looking wear, my fear was that whatever I made would not live up to that.

Well, here's my first two attempts. The first one will add to my frugal yet growing Gothic collection:

What I love about this one is that is completely unisex, I mean, I totally picture my girlfriends wearing something like this

The next one is not Gothic, I'd say it has more of a classy urban feel to it. I totally see me wearing something like this in RL when clubbing.

Some Gothic Flavor

It dawned on me recently that being a SL hybrid, I don't have enough Gothic wear in my shop, yes there's a tattoo or two and a few undies, but it's all mostly gay oriented. So with that idea in mind I came up with the "Black Nightmare outfit" which I hope will be the first of many in an upcoming Gothic line. Available in my Marketplace shop and also My Inworld shop

All about Fashionable Stealth

Taking the chance of our themed contest at the club and having seen a few nice looking camo ideas... I decided today to be a very productive hybrid and come up with a sexy yet summer looking camo outfit. Available of course in my Marketplace shop and also the Inworld shop

The "Genesis" of our Fashion community

After seeing what's out there in the big and wide SL and given the talent we, as a community are exposed to lately from all sources and paths of life, we decided to start our own fashion community and hopefully have a hunt sometime in the summer (August possibly & most likely)

 It won't be all about hunts tho. There are incredibly talented people starting businesses who do not know where to begin or how to showcase their products or venues, so hopefully this will provide an opportunity to do just that.
